How It's Done
Once we receive access to the site, one of our teams from The Strong Retaining Wall will measure, mark, and drill down to the required depths subject to site conditions e.g sandstone/rock.
Following any requested inspections of pier holes, the posts are installed using a laser for post heights and base levels for the sleepers to rest on. After the concrete cures to the correct hardness, the sleepers are installed and are checked for heights. At this stage the drainage matting is installed as well as the drainage line surrounded with 100mm of blue metal. The rest of the wall is filled with light weight ash drainage and capped with clay capping. (Please note that while this is the traditional method that The Strong Retaining Wall uses to complete the drainage, an engineer may request additional work or material be provided.)
